The Intel-based iMac is a series of Macintosh desktop computers designed, manufactured and sold by Apple Inc. It is a member of the iMac family. Testing conducted by Apple in July 2020 using preproduction 3.6GHz 10-core Intel Core i9-based 27‑inch iMac systems with 128GB of RAM and shipping 3.6GHz 8-core Intel Core i9-based 27‑inch iMac systems with 64GB of RAM. Tested with MATLAB and Simulink R2020a Update 4 and Parallel Computing Toolbox using a vehicle dynamics model.
